Had quite the Stubhub nightmare trying to buy tickets the morning of. Bought 6 tickets in the front row of a section so that my buddies grandma who is 91 could go see Patrick Mahomes live in action. She hadn’t been to a live Chiefs game since the Lenny the Cool days so it was a pretty awesome experience we were looking forward to. Unfortunately the seller never sent me the tickets and I got the email 3 hours before kickoff that I could choose a different set. So we found 6 more in another section and selected those. 2 more hours go by and they still never showed up so I called customer service and Stubhub told me they could refund my tickets, but couldn’t find me any other replacements since they already tried once. I was pretty livid, but I was able to buy 2 more sets of tickets right before the game and we all got in. My buddy and his grandma didn’t get to sit with all of us at the game, but the game was still a great time and she had a blast!
Between this nightmare and the nightmare from a guy projectile vomiting all over himself and our section last year in the first quarter and it taking 2 full quarters for them to get him removed and the mess cleaned up-I’m beginning to think SoFi Stadium is a huge cluster ****. I know the stubhub thing is more on the people who had the tickets but for it to happen twice is ridiculous. I wonder what type of scam LA fans are running or if it’s just their way of trying to **** over away fans from taking over their stadium.
Leaving the stadium to go to the parking lot sucks as well. Whoever designed it was not thinking of a mass exodus of people. So many bottleneck areas to cross over bridges that were made to go over a creek with no water. They definitely didn’t use the money wisely when designing the thing.
