Tons of KC people in LA working in the entertainment business. For some reason it translates well. Chiefs and college games always pack the bars here.
Just last week I was working on the Fast X movie poster and the agency doing the art and Universal were all texting back and forth about KU vs Duke as there were multiple alumni from both schools involved.
I don't even try to watch Chiefs games at the Chiefs bars anymore, it's madness trying to find a seat much less a server.
