Aren’t you always asking why Allen has to be compared to Mahomes?
For the record, Allen has 43 INTs/fumbles in his last 27 games. Mahomes has 27 in that span. I wouldn’t say that either one has done a fantastic job of limiting mistakes in that span but 43 is pretty bad.
As for the picks, Mahomes had two full seasons prior to last year with a 1% INT rate (the all time record for career INT % is 1.4), so we know he’s capable of cleaner play.
No one is heaping praise upon Mahomes for having 11 picks this year. It’s the one thing that could possibly prevent him from being MVP.
