There is no possible scenario to where the Bengals will be resting starters ( "throwing" a meaningless game) in these next two weeks. No chance in Hades.
If Cincy beats the Bills and then the Ravens, they are guaranteed the #2 seed with a slim outside chance of still getting the #1 seed.
If Cincy can get the #2 seed over Buffalo with winning out that is a huge advantage over throwing a game and being the #3and having to go to Orchard Park (or Detroit Ford Field) to face Buffalo in a Divisional round.
