Next weekend schedule [Chiefs/Raiders Sat @ 3:30]
Potential SNF games. It is worth noting they may not release the schedule until after tomorrows MNF.
Packers/Lions. Seems good but if the Seahawks win the Lions are eliminated before playing. Seems risky and potentially very unfair advantage to Packers. Lions would be playing to beat the Packers for pride but by doing so sending the Seahawks to the playoffs whom just knocked them out.
Ravens/Bengals. If Bengals lose tomorrow this game is for the division but both teams are already in the playoffs so not huge drama though a potential option.
Patriots/Bills. For the Patriots it’s win and your in so it’s got that going for it. If the Bills win tomorrow they still need this game if we win on Saturday. If they lose tomorrow and we win Saturday they can’t get the bye and are playing for seeding. However if it’s SNF in this scenario the Bills would be locked into the 3 seed if the Bengals beat the Ravens earlier in the day. If they lose tomorrow and we lose Saturday they again are playing for seeding and potentially still the bye. If they win tomorrow and we lose Saturday (yuck) they play for nothing the final week.
None seem like great options as many other things determine the importance of each one. But should the Bills lose tomorrow I think it sets up Bills/Patriots as the SNF game. Nothing else in the NFC really seems plausible. But a Bills loss means no matter what happens leading up to the game, for the Patriots it’s win and in and for the Bills they could be any of the 1, 2, or 3 seed. A Bills win probably kicks it to the Packers game as I’m not sure it’s that interesting watching two teams (Bengals/Ravens) already in the playoffs no matter what play for seeding.
