If KC was in the position the Bills after in, I wouldn't want the game played and just take the L. No matter what they are hosting at least one game still and probably get another chance against the same team in a few weeks. Benefit from the fact they just saved themselves 3 and a half quarters of wear with potential for more injuries entering into the playoffs and take the time to get right mentally.
Trying to figure out how to make up the game is going to mess up routine and preparation for the more important ones ahead. Having no oline was the primary problem, but I don't doubt the drunk driving incident by Reid's kid right before the Superbowl affected the team's mental state (at minimum the coaches') in some fashion as well. Use the next week and a half to rally together and refocus so you can salvage something positive out of this tragedy.

That's a great point about Britt (or Brett or whatever his name is) Reid, that I haven't seen mentioned yet. The consensus is that clearly had an effect on the Chiefs in the game and that kind of pales in comparison to the trauma the players on the field witnessed in terms of immediate fear and emotion.
