How many young men have died since Damar Hamlin collapsed on the field? Do you know? And how many of them have you given a second thought to?
"People closest to Damar..." like you're on a first name basis with this guy now. Y'know what? I'd care more if my dog got hit by a car. Or if my kid broke her toe. I have only so much time and capacity for grief to allocate among the evils of the world and no, I'm not going to sit here and pretend like I've been up for 48 hours lighting candles for 'Damar' and his loved ones.
And the 'or else' you're putting in all caps here is that they simply take an L. And? Ain't anybody saying to fold the franchise or fire them into the sun. They elected not to play - the 'why' of it shouldn't matter when determining how a massive industry that impacts the tens of thousands of related companies/individuals should conduct itself here.
You make the call and move along. The Bills are ready to play or they aren't. And if they aren't, okay - stay home.
But time and tide waits for no man. Be it Damar Hamlin, Josh Allen, Tyler Bass or Sean McDermott. Nobody is 'demanding OR ELSE' anything. They're simply moving forward. The Bills can join them should they so choose.
