Random guy-this is where I am at.

Here's an idea: Play week 18 as scheduled. If chiefs beat the Faid and Buffalo beats the Pats then chiefs & bills flip a coin. The winner gets to choose bye (1 seed) or home field. You can choose one or the other but not both. So say the chiefs win the toss and choose bye - they'll get the 1 seed & a first round bye, but buffalo gets home field if the 2 teams play.

Note: The same can also be done to determine where the game between Buffalo & cincy is played should they meet in the playoffs.

I think that's the fairest way to approach things without turning everything into a scheduling cluster**** or totally screwing one team.
