This isn't true. He was stable on his vitals in the ambulance while they waited to leave and at that moment his fate was already essentially sealed with regards to brain damage, which was the main concern. Sure, suspend that game in the moment but it was perfectly reasonable to play on Wednesday. The decision to play shouldn't be based on his recovery and long term prognosis because that essentially says they would only play if its good. And this isn't hindsight. I posted about it in real time.
