We have 33 players under contract in 2023. So, 20 roster spots wide open. We'll have around $50m after cut Clark.

We have no LT. No starting quality RT. Our DE position is: Karlaftis, Danna, Herring, Kaindoh. Our WR room is: MVS, Toney, Moore.

9 draft picks and that'll eat up like what, $12m or so of the cap room? Let's be generous and say $10m.

So $40m and we'll need LT, RT, DE, WR all capable of producing on a championship caliber level for a SB caliber team.

I don't think we can afford to pay Jones AND Brown. Given a choice, I'd pay Jones and send a #2 to GB for Nijman and a mid-level LT contract, but I don't know if it's on the table.

But I am fairly certain we can't pay them both and field an NFL caliber 53.
