Nah, as usual Staley over thought this and followed the "keeping the momentum going" philosophy both mentally and physically when the game absolutely DID NOT MATTER.Who gives a rat's ass if you lose to the Broncos because everyone knows why you lost saving and resting your "real team". Losing 2 real stars in a meaningless game right before the playoffs is a fireable offense IMHO
Common sense said, you have an injury prone team that is now finally a 100% healthy going into the guaranteed playoffs so let's let the majority of backups play to get some snaps and get the rust off them so that IF someone is injured in the playoffs they will be more comfortable going in.
