No, it doesn't. But fyi, at least two of those INTs were just ridiculous. The first one was lucky as hell, and there was another one that was a really good ball, but the DB made a circus catch on it.
But just the fact that he could come back from as horrific a start as that means that it's possible for him to shrug that off and go out and have a huge day. Says something about his character. So does the fact that his team didn't quit even after that spectacularly bad beginning.
The other part that helped was that Staley, the metrics guru, decided that he should play Mike Williams in a meaningless game last week and got him injured, as well as Bosa. And then in this game, he decides, after gaining a 27-0 lead, he should only run the ball 8 times.
They scored a total of 3 points in the 2nd half.
