Because why not? he's not some stooge of the shield. He's not a family money trust fund kid who's never taken risks. He's always had as much/more skin in the game than any other owner in the sport. And he puts his money where his mouth is - good for him.

I don't know enough about the history to pass judgment but he doesn't bother me.
