For me, the 2008 team, and the 1997 team, are so close, but the 2008 team has to get the edge because the won it all.
And that 2008 team is currently, and may always be, the only team to win the National Championship when all four #1 seeds made it to the Final Four.
I don't always like it, but I would never fault a kid for leaving early, but I was so, so disappointed that the eligible players on that team didn't come back.
I believe that if all eligible players had returned, that team would have went back to the Final Four, and would have had a chance to repeat. Florida had just went back-to-back with returning players, and I really thought our players would come back. But, we know how that turned out.
