Yeah, I did to a much larger extent 20 years ago... not to that extreme of needing to place blame on made up things, but would lose sleep over losses and what not. The year KU lost to Syracuse in the NC and the Chiefs lost the no punt game to the Colts was rough. 
And then I have Herm Edwards to thank for detaching from the Chiefs to that extent. I still scream at the top of my lungs at Arrowhead and stand (more like bounce) the entire game, postseason losses still suck... but I disassociate after that. Yep, that's what happens when you suck for an entire half, let's grab some food. |
Yeah... I'm as big of a fan as I ever was, but there's a lot more to life now. If we lose it's not a ruined day, it's more like "meh... guess I'll go mow"
