Starting with the Illinois game, when we started playing tough competition, Hodge is 13 of 44 from 3pt range. He's shooting 29% from deep over that time.
And he's just going to keep shooting. Frankly, I think his biggest problem is his
inability to create his own look. He's a spot up shooter with a relatively slow release and no conscious.
Maybe if he's on in the first half, I could talk myself into him in the crunch. And frankly, Gates loves the guy so he's gonna be in there. But I've just seen him take too many poor shots and/or miss wide ass open looks where he just cratered the teams momentum.
He's a poor man's Clarence Gilbert.
