Keep moving it as much as you can and keep blood flow working through the injured area.
Im sure its not always the case but I know rest doesn't fix some tendon injuries as fast as work does. I know this from personal experience.

The common idea in most PT these days is --dont pussy foot around--
Less than 2 weeks after a knee replacement and I am walking quite a few steps WITHOUT HELP.
