You do NOT want an angry Chris Jones on that field Sunday, lads. Because that is an extremely large, powerful, fast human being who will flat out ruin your day.

Not disagreeing at all.
But you don't think that there's a game or two every season where Pat turns it up a notch because of some real/imagined slight? because I do. Take just this season: TB, SF, and to a lesser extent, LAR. In all of those games he seemed to be playing at yet another level, God-mode, if you will. In both the TB and the SF games Pat was nearly perfect until late in those games, when the results were already decided.
I think Mahomes is going to have that paramount level of focus and execution, above and beyond what passes for 'great' already for him, and 'scorched Earth' will seem like an understatement.
