Regarding the actual thread topic, just make sure you're paying attention to wear and tear on your car when evaluating whether it's worth it to you. The IRS rate ($0.655 per mile currently) always seems crazy high, but it's usually in that ballpark once you consider the car cost, fuel, maintenance, insurance, etc.
