My kid does door dash... The base pay for drivers is typically $2.50 for most deliveries (doesn't adjust much for longer deliveries). If you don't tip, they have wear and tear, depriciation, and loss of gas money to deliver to you. depending on the area you live, they make 3-4 deliveries per hour max. Tips aren't a luxery, but rather a necessity.
