Only being down 10 at half was a huge break.
But, seeing the defense on the field for 22 minutes, and our offense on the field for only 8 minutes, in the first half, should have made fans feel like things were not looking great.
Anyone can say "I always knew we would win" but after that first half, saying we would win isn't being a great fan, it's just blind faith.
And there is nothing wrong with blind faith, but there was nothing football specific from the first half that indicated we would win.
Calling out fans for being upset or angry, is just ridiculous, and tearing down those people isn't useful for anything other than making the person doing the tearing down feel better about themselves.

The defense was out there so much, in part, due to the scoop and score; their success there meant they HAD to stay on the field. THAT alone should have kept folks from worrying too much. We were also getting the ball to begin the second half so it was really a 3-point game. THAT is football specific. THAT has NOTHING to do with blind faith. It's really the opposite; people who understand the game have no need for blind cowardice.
