All things being equal, knowing that we can't know who is on the board at 31, grade the following hypothetical draft picks the Chiefs hypothetically make at 31:
RB Devon Achane, Texas A&M
WR Quenton Johnston, TCU
WR Tyler Scott, Cincinnati
DT Calijah Kancey, Pittsburgh
DT Mazi Smith, Michigan
DE Lukas Van Ness, Iowa
DE Keoin White, Georgia Tech
Again, all things being equal.
These are some guys I've waffled on as a good pick at 31, wanted to know your thoughts.

Will McDonald IV is the most likely, and best speed rusher left at 31, imo. That's what I'd want at DE. I don't get the Van Ness love and I'm not convinced Keoin White is a R1 guy at all.
At WR I would absolutely love Johnston but he's not there at 31 and I wouldn't go up for him. I don't think Scott is a R1.
I was on the Kancey train early and I do think he's early R2, I just don't know he has more of an impact than a decent DE given he's not ready to be an every down guy. He'd be great, but he'd be a luxury. Mazi Smith probably offers a more complete and useful piece day 1. I do think he could be great, I wouldn't hate the pick, but I think he'll still also need a year.
Absolutely no to a RB!
