I think the OC job in Washington, if offered, would be the right path for Eric.
Andy likes to be able to call plays and be an important part of the Chiefs' offense.
The Chiefs run best when Andy has control.
To show that he can do it, Eric needs to go someplace where he has total control of offense which he will never get here.
Side Note - Eric needs to stay away from "chopping wood and carrying water" and all the other expressions he likes to use while explaining hard work and getting to team goals that he wants to achieve.
I hope Eric gets his opportunity as a HC, but I think he will need to go to Washington to do it.
