We drafted a LT that perfectly fit Andy's scheme at #1 overall. He played RT his first year and took a good 3 years to finally put it together at LT.

What you say sounds easy but it simply isn't. Trotting a rookie out there, no matter how high he is drafted, carries significant risk.
