Agreed.
I'd say there's maybe a 10% chance that duo is as good/better than what we had last year.
But Crow really thinks OBJ is a tub of guts. I believe he has stated that he doesn't thing he's a good OT or even an average one. My memory is that he things Brown is just flat out bad.
He is about as fond of OBJ as I am of Clark.
So his stance here isn't unexpected.
Dillard was a fairly raw prospect with substantial tools coming out of WSU. He hasn't really developed and in the process has shown an injury history.
The question isn't even if Dillard/Pipkins can play as well as Brown/Wylie. It's if Dillard, Pipkins, a rookie and a veteran FA can. Because I'd say you'll probably get at least 10-12 missed starts between those two.
