I think you're right, and I think the Chiefs will absolutely chew on doing that.
I also think that the Chiefs have two goals in mind with the 31st pick: they're either going to use it to go get a tackle, or if they've already got the tackle they want on the roster, they'll trade down.
That 25 to 45 range... all the talent seems equivalent.
If the Chiefs trade down, however... they've already got 10-11 picks in this year's draft. Netting picks for next year would be what they'd likely want, I think.
