Since men's NCAA Tournament expanded to 64 teams in 1985, here are the biggest upsets (with closing spread):

1. No. 16 Fairleigh Dickinson (+23.5) over No. 1 Purdue

2. No. 15 Norfolk State (+21.5) over No. 2 Missouri in 2012

3. No. 16 UMBC (+20.5) over No. 1 Virginia in 2018
