We’ve been snooping our nose deep on the WR market for 2 years now and let juju leave. Why do people continue to insist that Reid or veach are satisfied with our WRs when it seems clear they’re looking not just for warm bodies, but for good WRs even if they cost a lot. I agree that Justin Jefferson is out of our range but this nonsense that we can’t afford a good WR and that we last years offense was anything but a rebuild blueprint (despite our successes.) at this point it’s just head in the sand to act like the chiefs have any intent of surrounding mahomes with lesser receivers he can elevate. They are trying but thankfully are not gonna panic
There is no guarantee of anything 5 years from now. Andy Reid and kelce are two massive pieces to that puzzle. We don’t need to save money now so Reid’s replacement can spend it later. Of course we need to be cap conscious but there is nothing wrong with getting aggressive while the iron is hot. Team like the saints have been doing this on the extremes for YEARS and they’re still spending like drunken sailors.
