The Chicago Bears select Gervon Dexter Sr., DT, Florida
Reasoning: the Bears desperately need DT help (especially a 3-tech). If Carter is available at #9 - they’re taking him. If Bresee or Kancey somehow make it to 53, they’re taking them. If not, they will read the board and decide whether they take someone from the next tier at 53, 61, or 64… but I guarantee you they don’t make it past 64 without drafting IDL help.
