I have no way of proving this, but when I was a little kid I read a book that had short football player biographies, and it mentioned that Chiefs legend Otis Taylor once faced up against Willis Reed in a college basketball game and they scored the same number of points.
At least, I think it was Willis Reed. It was one of those legendary basketball players from that era.
