I would have loved to see this played with better refs, though. So many fouls ruined the pace of this game and really hamstrung K-State. They probably win 8 out of 10 going away with a cleaner called game.

I don't really care that much about KSU basketball, but I don't see the upside to the rule of having players foul out.
Fouls are so subjective as it is to add insult to injury by sending a player to bench on an iffy call.
Or even if a player was in the wrong spot at the wrong time...
Would football be better if every time a star DB got a PI flag, he had to go to the bench for 15 minutes?
Or if a game happens to go to double OT, it gets decided by a couple of scrubs that not even hard core fans really know because the starters have long fouled out...
