Eh, he was pretty much washed by the end of '15 and fought injuries even in one of those seasons.
Guy signed a 10 year deal that made him among the highest paid players in baseball every season of the deal and gave the Angels 3 truly good seasons over that span.
For him to do what he did in 2022 in a part-time role in STL after 6-7 years of truly awful baseball tells me that it wasn't just an age issue - it was an Anaheim issue as well.
There's really nothing positive to say about that contract if you're an Angels fan.
