Me and my kids enjoy the win that we saw, and we enjoy the homer that Mike Trout hit. You're easily pursuaded to nonsense if you think that was a "waste of time" because come the fall, when the donkament started, the Angels didn't win the donkament. My kids on that night when I took them to an Angel game to see Mike Trout and Ohtani play? They weren't sweating 5 months in the future about the donkament.
