The Raiders signed Marcus Epps this offseason and have drafted Brian Branch, but honestly I think Epps kinda sucks and the Raiders defensive backfield is such a mess that any sort of versatility is valued so:
The Raiders Select: Anthony Johnson Jr, DB - Iowa State
I think you're looking at a guy who can provide some coverage reps over Epps if necessary but as a 3-year starter on the boundary who made a conversion (successfully) to safety at ISU, he presents a lot of versatility. Even the position he played at ISU is more of a hybrid S role not unlike how the Chiefs used Mathieu a couple years back. Ultimately he's just a good football player and if you can find one of those in the 6th, you take him and figure out the depth chart later.
