I'm operating under the assumption that Veach has done a great job of finding depth in the offseason, and we're looking to add difference makers to the WR and DL to inflict Max Pain on the rest of the league and cement our superiority for years to come. Not too mention secure young talents at premium positions to ensure we remain cap flexible. I'm especially happy with the current state of the LB and DB rooms, and don't feel there's much required there. Adding 1 or 2 guys to compete at RT and depth OL further solidifies the trenches. We already have 4 TEs on the roster and one of them is The GOAT so although I like La Porta and Whyle I'm going to let other team's swing on this year's hot TE market and drive down talents elsewhere to our Chiefs. I'm also banking on fans favoring this year's WR class more than the actual league, as well as the recent trend of RBs (especially smaller ones) going later in the draft.

By moving MVS, Hopkins contract becomes much more palatable and we can renegotiate potentially on a healthy 3 year deal if that's what he wants as long as it's within the same $15m-$20m range. MVS contract is significantly lower than Hopkin's and he's a SB champion which gives AZ something their fans can accept. Note that Hopkins would be the ONLY weapon we'd be spending any real $ on outside of Kelce, and I'd build the upside in his contract around incentives he's likely to earn in a full season with Pat Mahomes throwing him the ball.

I Love the diversity of talent on offense. Kelce (GOAT), Hopkins (Deep), Toney (X-Factor), Hyatt (Speed), and Moore (Trusted Slot) all fill different roles. then you have Pachecco (speed rusher), K Mitchell (pass catching RB), Nichols (Thicker - Dual-threat RB), and Luepke (HB Pass-Blocking, Goal-line, & Wheel Route Threat) is a fun new weapon for Andy to scheme into the offense. I like the depth at the bottom of the WR room, James can push Moore and fast-Ross can push James. Likewise, tall-Ross and S Davis can push Watson for targets, and all three of those younger taller WRs might learn a thing or two about playing on the outside from D Hopkins. I would absolutely love to see tall-Ross thrive and become our #5 WR!

I think we'll be just within reach to stand pat at #63 and get one of the DL I mentioned above, or someone similar, but I'd love to see Veach and Andy move up for "their guy" and get a premium player! I'm more inclined to seek out a DE than a NT who's not likely to play as many downs, but I'd love to get a beast next to C Jones that requires double teams and a legit pass rusher opposite of Karlaftis. Throw in a speedy pass rushing specialist like Diaby or Young (TEN) to mix in and I think we have all we need to continue to compete for a top 5 pass rush for years to come.

Thrive.
