Abdullah might fit nicely as a strict 3-4 OLB but w/ Anderson and McDonald, he didn't make a lot of sense for Seattle. And in a 4-3 I think you're a couple years away from a Will conversion. He's just a bit stiff; it's a real question if he can ever truly get that done.
I honestly wasn't even sure if Abdullah could handle a coverage role on STs. Just seems a little too bound up.

Hmm. I think a guy that runs a 4.47, has explosion with a 36.5 vertical, and solid agility can make it on special teams. At the end of the day though this a moot thing because a 3-4 team is probably taking him very early on day 3. You can't ignore his production and his athleticism. He might be a little light but he's not so light he can't be useful. 123 tackles, 31 tfl, 19.5 sacks, 7 PD, 2 INTs, and 5 FFs over the past two years isn't nothing. Hell, he's not all that different from Will McDonald and people are projecting McDonald in the 1st. McDonald is a little longer but that's about it. I'd argue that Abdullah showed enough in coverage and space to be a far better projection into a 4-3 LB than many of his pedigree too. Hell, one team could decide they want to use him in a Parsons role as a 4-3 SAM.
