But, already in HS, Bryce especially had people whispering in his ear about how great he was and ruined his potential. I think the parents kind of farmed out the boys representation to some would-be promoter and it did not go great. Bryce ended up bouncing around a couple colleges and fizzled in the end.

They were both stud athletes. You are right in everything you said about Bryce. He had people in his ear early and often. He had special talent but not the drive and work ethic to be great. It was a shame to see that talent go unrealized.
