It's a joke man. The Pirates have a Pirate blazer with a sword that the home run hitter pulls out. The Angels have a super expensive Samurai helmet.
I saw another team wanted to be like the movie Gladiator so they custom ordered the mask that Russel Crowe wore in that movie. The announcer said the team commissioned it in February but it just finally got made last week so you will be seeing that.
