They upgraded at RB with Gibbs (who is more explosive than Swift) and Montgomery, and added a lot of good pieces to the defense.
I would predict the Chiefs handle them fairly well in Week 1 (something like a 34-24 win that is not as close as the score indicates) and they improve a lot over the course of the year.
The gambling suspension is going to have some key pieces out that first week (notably, Jameson Williams), and the new pieces at defense will still be rotating in (big upgrades in the back 7, which usually take some time to start clicking).
But I think the Lions team the Chiefs face and knock off in SB LVIII will be a much tougher team, and that one ends up being more like a 31-28 game.
