Have read the 2016 thread and I've seen enough evidence to confirm there was such an avatar bet (although without that initial confirmation or defined terms/length of time). There may be something I'm missing or forgetting about why he never did it at the time and waited 7 years (perhaps he was just embarrassed at the time to have trashed the GOAT only to have LeBron have the greatest 3 game stretch in NBA history to beat the Warriors), but I'm not about to go looking at any other threads.
Given the lack of terms, I'm prepared to replace my longtime avatar for the duration of the Finals. The Chalmers can return after it is over.
