I need to catch up on these. When the first one was released everyone else seemed to love it, but I didn't. Then I saw the second one and thought that movie was better than the first by a good margin. Loved John Woo movies at the time, but watched the second one again with my wife a month or two ago and she had to get her comments in on the final fight scene, which I kind of agree on. To be honest 1 and 2 haven't aged particularly well for espionage and action flicks what they used to be in the 90s/2000s and what they are today.

I never saw the third one, heard about the big scenes, heard it was good but I have never sat down and completely watched the third one. Saw Ghost Protocol in theaters, really enjoyed it. The prison break out scene in the beginning, the burj khalifa scenes were pretty excellent, thought it was a fun time at the movies. Since Ghost Protocol I haven't seen a single Mission Impossible movie, just bits and pieces on TV but never been really interested. So my wife and I are going to watch 3-6 before going to see 7.
