Holy crap - the Athletics are SHOCKINGLY bad. Like when the Royals were 'led' by Ken Harvey and ESPN pretty much had a daily segment on awful things the Royals did - those teams were WAY better than this Oakland squad.
Cardinals just scored a run because the Oakland pitcher picked a guy off 1b and when the 1b threw to 2nd for the out, the SS and 2b ran into each other and nobody bothered to actually make a tag. Next batter hit a duck-snort to score the guy from 2b.
That's sub-little league.
