Fortunately the primary competition for the #1 seed is going to come from the AFC East and it appears those guys will spend the season beating the piss out of each other.

So that leaves the Bengals and at least we'll have the ball on our racket vs. them at some point. I mean that's essentially a 2-game swing with the win AND a tiebreaker. We can be a game behind them, win that game and actually leap ahead.

But yeah, this isn't a roster that's anywhere close to full strength for the first few weeks of the season. That's gonna sting.
