Deal still might not get done.
But I'm pretty sure that Veach wouldn't use the words, "in the next few days," if he didn't honestly think that was a real probability. I think he really believes they can have a meeting of the minds, otherwise he wouldn't say that shit out loud.
And, to be fair, we haven't even mentioned the possibility that Bigfoot was somehow involved, so I'm not sure how much of any of this we can take seriously . . .
