You don’t think it’s reasonable he would want a long term contract from the Chiefs if all those things were said by him? Why would he only want a 2 year extension if that were the case? It’s not like he’s gonna have a bigger opportunity at the end of those 2 years to land another big FA contract as a 32 year old DT.
A 2 year deal (extension) makes no sense for Chris and his agents. It does, however, make a lot of sense for the Chiefs . . . . .
