You could argue that he's as valuable or even more valuable than either of those guys. He's damn sure more important to the overall play of the defense and has way more double teams and around the same amount of pressures. ****ing Nick Bosa is gonna get more than Donald, so I'd say the market definitely says he's worth. $27-$28 should more than get it done.

Imagine comparing Chris Jones to Nick Bosa and TJ Watt. Then imagine doing that and calling anyone else on this board stupid. You're a special kind of reerun dilphag9, the fanboy.
Watt is the NFL regular season sack record holder, and Bosa is a 25 year old defending DPOY coming off back to back double digit sack seasons.
TJ Watt has 4 straight seasons of double digit sacks, injury prevented a 5th straight.
Watt and Bosa are consistent quarterback destroying monsters.
Jones has had a couple seasons of double digit sacks, with a 3 season gap between them in the regular season, in which Jones jumps off the screen. In the playoffs, the guy has some batted balls and a couple sacks against some Bengal backups to his credit in almost a full season worth of post season contests.
This holdout is Jones trying to capitalize on a great season, because history has shown that in his prime he wasn't consistently destroying qbs, and at age 29 going forward, reality doesn't mesh with him keeping up what he did last season for the next 3-4, which is what would be required to demand this number.
In a couple months if he follows through with this holdout, Jones will learn the same thing Tyreek learned.
