If you think 28 per is too much, I get it. But trying to frame it as if he'll get more than Donald just based on 2 years of a 3 year contract is just weird to me.

The Chiefs are up against the cap. I can't foresee them increasing his salary this year to $24-25 million so he is going to be paid $20 million this year (that isn't new that is current contract for 2023 plus he already received his pro rated bonus etc for this year). So as this guy pointed out it is a 2 year extension.
