Conner has shown he can blitz from the nickel like they’ve done so much with sneed. All 6 LBs can either blitz up the middle or off the edge. Probably only 5 active LBs on game day. Yeah, I think a 3-3-5 is going to be seen at times, for sure. I don't think KC has the DL to run an odd front as base package or standard package (without Jones and Omenihu, the Es aren't beefy enough), but it can be a wrinkle for sure.

The Lions are a gap scheme team, which is great against light fronts that don't blitz. I could see the Chiefs mixing in enough blitzes to cause some problems.

Biggest thing is that Goff just isn't the same guy on the road that he's been at home as a Lion, even in 2021.

Detroit will put up points, but it doesn't have the D to handle the Chiefs' combination of Mahomes magic + Reid scheme wizardry + OL strength.

I get that Jones' last real card to play is "try to win without me and see how it goes!" but I just don't see that going where he wants it to go.
