If we suppose Ragans will be healthy the new few years, that completely changes the post-mortem of the 2023 season. A clear #1 starter just fell on our lap.
This terrible record doesn't paint quite the bleak picture it did a few months ago before Ragans and Witt's breakout. Additionally, some of the younger hitters may pan out.
