Its not enough to be paid what you're worth. There's more than a little "stick it to the man" going on here. It's why PM has to constantly defend his team friendly deal. He's responded to the situation so many times the response rolls out like a memorized line. He was expected to push the envelope, just because he could. You can tell people are in Kelce's ear about it as well.
At this point, it's hard to believe anything CJ has said about KC and the Chiefs. We're watching the equivalent of slow walking the cross walk while the light is green. Let him pout, then tag and trade. KC has plenty of awesome players and fun young guys to rally around, the fans will have no problem forgetting who CJ was propped up to be, or who he actually is.
